Protecting your privacy, and in particular data protection, is important to us. When you make a reservation or book an event, we need to collect your personal data online. This is the only way we can continuously adapt and improve our offerings and services to meet your needs. Below you will find information about what data we may collect and how we handle it.

Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the federal data protection regulations (Data Protection Act, DSG), every person has the right to privacy and protection against the misuse of their personal data. We naturally always comply with these regulations. Personal data is treated with strict confidentiality and is neither sold nor passed on to third parties.

Personal data :
We do not collect any personal data via our websites without your consent. You alone decide whether or not you wish to provide us with data such as your name, address, telephone number, etc. We require your personal data to answer your inquiry or process your order (e.g., table reservation, contact request). The specific personal data transmitted to the data controller is determined by the respective input form.

Data for the provision of paid services:
To provide paid services (e.g., voucher orders, event reservations), we request additional data from you, such as payment information, in order to process your order. We store this data in our systems until you revoke your consent.

Technical Data:
Technical data is automatically collected by our systems when you visit our website. This primarily includes technical information (e.g., internet browser, operating system, or time of page access). This data is collected automatically as soon as you access our website. The following data is stored in log files: IP address, date, time, browser request, and general information transmitted about the operating system and/or browser. This usage data forms the basis for statistical, anonymous analyses, allowing us to identify trends and improve our services accordingly.

Your rights: 
You can exercise the following rights at any time with our data protection officer (see section "2 Data Protection Officer"):

  • Information about your data stored with us and its processing

  • Correction of inaccurate personal data

  • Deletion of your data stored with us

  • Restriction of data processing if we are not yet allowed to delete your data due to legal obligations

  •  Objection to the processing of your data by us

  • Data portability, provided you have consented to the data processing or have entered into a contract with us.
     

You can withdraw your consent to the collection, processing and use of your personal data at any time.
 

Use of your data: 
The personal data entered by the data subject will be collected and stored exclusively for internal use and for our own purposes. The data controller may transfer this data to one or more processors, such as a parcel service provider, who will use the personal data exclusively for the purpose of processing the order.
 

We use your personal information solely to provide you with information and services that you have requested and that may be of interest to you.
 

By providing your personal data, you will receive our electronic newsletter via email or similar information by post. All information is free of charge and you can unsubscribe at any time. Simply send us an informal email to do so. The legality of data processing carried out before the withdrawal of consent remains unaffected.
 

Newsletter: 
If you have subscribed to our newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time, for example via the "Unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. You can also have your newsletter profile (first name, last name, email address, subscribed newsletters) deleted. The legality of data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the withdrawal of consent.
 

We are entitled to commission third parties with the technical processing of the newsletter and are entitled to pass on your data for this purpose.
 

Applications:
By submitting your application, you agree to be contacted and informed as part of the application process. You can change, delete, or withdraw your application at any time.

The legal basis for data processing therefore lies in the performance of pre-contractual measures and in our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b and f GDPR. For further data processing, the legal basis lies in your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
 

Data security: 
To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (SSL) via HTTPS. In close cooperation with our hosting providers, we strive to protect the databases as effectively as possible against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or falsification.

Cookies are small files that are temporarily stored on your computer. We use cookies to track visitor preferences and thus optimize our website to meet your needs. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifiable information. Of course, you can also view our website without cookies. This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies," which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

For a Table Reservation Service: 
We use the "For a Table" reservation service from Lunchgate AG on our website for online table reservations. When using this service, you submit data such as your name, phone number, email address, the desired number of guests, and any comments to Lunchgate via the input fields. This data is necessary for processing your online reservation and must therefore be stored by Lunchgate AG. Please refer to Lunchgate AG's terms of service  .
